Turpy Thyme

Privacy, explained plainly.

This Privacy Policy explains how Turpy LLC ("Turpy," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Turpy Thyme, related websites, and support channels.

Effective July 12, 2026

Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, the service may process:

The service does not currently ask users to store precise location history, payment-card details, or health records. We will update this policy before materially expanding the information we collect.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service; authenticate users; keep household information separated; support shared household workflows; respond to support requests; prevent abuse; diagnose reliability problems; and meet legal obligations.

How information is shared

Household content is shared with members of the household according to their role and the feature being used. We also use service providers for cloud hosting, authentication, databases, domains, and app distribution. Those providers process information on our behalf under their own contractual and security obligations.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the safety and rights of users or others, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets with appropriate notice and safeguards.

We do not sell personal information, and the service does not contain third-party advertising.

Children and managed profiles

The service is designed for household use. An adult household organizer may create a managed profile for a child or another household member. Managed profiles are controlled by household organizers and are not independent accounts. Organizers should provide only the minimum information needed for coordination and should not enter sensitive details that a feature does not request.

The service is not intended for a child under 13 to create an independent account without authorization from a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information through an independent account without appropriate authorization.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while it is needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, support, backup, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes. Retention periods vary by data type. Some security audit records may be retained where necessary to preserve account integrity.

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing support@turpy.dev. We will verify requests and explain any information we must retain or cannot delete.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, household-level authorization controls, encrypted network connections, managed cloud infrastructure, and security logging. No system can guarantee absolute security.

International processing

Turpy is based in Ohio, United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post the revised policy here, change the effective date, and provide additional notice when a change is material.
